The book Pure India is not only a translation of the beauty of India, it is also a time-image of a country that is changing at a rapid pace. Henk Bothof: "Something in me says that the photographs of some tribal people may be the last. These original people are surrounded by age-old traditions of wich, unfortunely, many are on the verge of disappearance due to globalosation and the Western lifestyle. Often the elderly stick to the old traditions and that is why it is important that these images are preserved. To record India in images for always in its pure form.
